Just registered here because I found a very reasonable and EASY workaround for this problem, which is exactly the same for me. swinsian, swinsian review, swinsian dark mode, swinsian 3.0, swinsian iphone, swinsian alternative, swinsian reddit, swinsian vs itunes, swinsian windows. and you literally never have to look inside the bloated System/Applications folder ever again. CopyTrans Manager alternatives are mainly Audio Players but may also be iPhone File. Other great apps like CopyTrans Manager are aTunes, Swinsian, Winyl and Roon. The best alternative is Winamp, which is free. OR Use Symlinks to that folder to a share of some kind from each machine. There are more than 25 alternatives to CopyTrans Manager for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. That will sync all the art and probably the playlists. Have it sync bi-directionally every night. Simple, easy, no hacking or SIP stuff. Duplicate the A machine>user>Library >Application Support> Swinsian folder and put it in the library folder of the B machine.With wide supporting formats, it lets you import iTunes library or local music folder. You never have to see or deal with that bloatware again, and when you click your "Favorites Apps" folder on the Sidebar you see Only The Apps You Like. Swinsian is a media player like iTunes, and it is special for Mac OS. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of SharePod. SharePod alternatives are mainly iPhone File Managers but may also be Audio Players or Media Players. Other great apps like SharePod are iMazing, CopyTrans Manager, Swinsian and Roon. As others have mentioned, the super-annoying / useless bloatware apps like TV and Home (which use negligible space) are now no longer in your personal "Favorites Apps" folder which has replaced the System Applications folder in the Sidebar. The best alternative is MediaMonkey, which is free.Move the System / Applications folder (the one you toggle in "Finder / Preferences / Sidebar") to the bottom of the list, and / or switch it off completely from even appearing in the Sidebar.I recommend you place your personal "Favorite Apps" folder at The Top of the list. Drag you new personal "Favorite Apps" folder to the Finder Left Sidebar, where you probably see the System / Applications icon as well as Downloads, Desktop etc. You now have a folder of ONLY the Apps you want to quickly reference and / or use regularly.Other Apps will ask for Authentication (Password or Fingerprint). YES, the ones hard-wired into the System/Applications (like TV, Stocks, Home etc - you know, the bloatware in question) will only Copy to your new folder but that's fine. ![]() One by one, move the Apps you WANT & ENJOY into your personal "Favorite Apps" folder.I called mine simply "*MY APPLICATIONS" (with the asterisk so it gets filed at the top).
